The Project & Goal
Proprio is developing a cutting edge VR surgical navigation platform, to aid surgeons during spinal deformity surgeries. Leveraging virtual reality, 3D imaging, robotics, and AI, the goal is to increase a surgeon’s accuracy and efficiency during pedicle screw placement and also reduce the need for intraoperative use of harmful radiation imaging techniques.
My Role
As a UX/UI Designer at Proprio I have contributed to the design and development in the following areas.
Competitive research and feature analysis.
Design of the product’s early stage end to end user experience.
Low/high fidelity wireframing and prototyping of the end to end user experience.
Assisting in the design of the information architecture of the end to end user experience.
Assisting in the design of the preoperative/intraoperative planning and navigation for the desktop and VR user experience.
Design and documentation of the product’s design language.
Conducting user interviews and live interactive OR testing.
